Lita vs. Hellbound

Any fashion blogger who is any fashion blogger has a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots (left), which is exactly why I don't have a pair. I also just can't imagine these clunkers on my size ten feet - can anyone say "skis"? UNIF has developed the "Hellbound" boots (right) that emulate the Litas, but they have a much edgier feel. You may have to actually believe you are bound for hell to wear these. They sort of scare me - in an awe inspiring way. I mean, the black ones come with rainbow and white laces (they also have black for those who are just sort-of sinful).

All in all, looking at either of these boots unattached to a body, I just can't understand the appeal, but then I see them weighing down some twiggy girl's legs, and, to my surprise, I totally get it. They are purposely huge and baffling-ly cool... so maybe me wearing them in an extra large size 10 will make me extra stylish/cool/blah blah blah. What do you think? Leave some comments!
